FS Real Time v1.88 (for FSX, FS2004, FS2002, FS2000, FS98, CFS, and CFS2) is made to keep Flight Simulator's UTC (Zulu/GMT) time and date in sync with the Real World. It can maintain either the current Real Time, or an offset (+/-) so you can fly at any variation from Real Time. Changed in this version is a small rearrangement in the setup in which the 'flight simulator selections' setup screen and the 'optional packages to install' setup screen appear. This new arrangement means that the 'optional packages to install' screen can now filter out what packages are not needed and recommend only those packages that should be installed based on the flight simulator selections that were checked on the previous screen. This also allows the selections from the 'flight simulator selections' screen to be remembered if the user returns to that screen after clicking 'next.' Also a bug was fixed where FS Real Time would report that it had connected to FSUIPC through WideFS even though the simulator it connected to is on the same computer instead of a WideFS network connection. Additionally, numerous minor code efficiency enhancements pertaining to the startup of FS Real Time were implemented. An updated FS Real Time icon is also new in this update. It has come to our attention that the latest version of the World Time Zones scenery (v3.51) which comes bundled with FS Real Time is not functioning as it should for a large number of users of FS2004 and FSX. FS Real Time itself is not affected by this issue and continues to correct the flight simulator time as it should. We ask for your patience while we actively investigate the cause of this issue with the World Time Zones scenery. Until we can solve the issues with the World Time Zone scenery, we've posted a current version of FS Real Time bundled with the older World Time Zones v3.0 to facilitate a more stable and immediate fix to the scenery.

Day/Night Terminator Display (DNTDisplay) is a free and useful little utility for displaying the current position of the sun (and where ever the sun is rising or setting) upon a map. It can also display and adjust the current location of an aircraft in an FSUIPC connected flight simulator. Also, this utility not only displays the aircraft position, but it also displays its ideal visibility circle.
