Setup World Timezones for Flight Simulator 98 and Combat Flight Simulator
These instructions detail how to complete the setup of World Timezones for
Flight Simulator 98 and Combat Flight Simulator. Please note, this is the second
part of a two-part installation process. World Timezones must already be
installed by the Setup program before these steps can be followed. Also, these
additional steps are not required for the newer Flight Simulators.
- After a successful complete setup of FS Real Time, Open Flight Simulator
98.
- In main menu, click "World" and then "Scenery Library". You'll see a
warning message; just click "OK"

- In the window that appears, click "Files..."

- In the window that appears, click "Add..."

- In the "Scenery Area Path" field, copy and paste the following without the
quotes,
"C:\Program Files\FS Real Time\TzFiles\SCENERY\*.BGL"
- In the "Scenery Area Title" field, type the following without the quotes,
"World Timezones"
- Make sure that "Scenery area type" is set to Global.
Make sure that "Scenery area active" is checked.
Make sure that "Scenery area layer" reads "0001" without the quotes.
Your screen should now look like this:

- Click "OK" until you're out of all Scenery Library windows. Finished,
enjoy!
